Stranger Things, esa gran serie de Netflix que ha revolucionado a medio mundo desde que iniciara su andadura a el otro lado en 2016, también cuenta con una enorme banda sonora original y una gran selección de canciones.

La banda sonora de Stranger Things llega de la mano de Kyle Dixon y Michael Stein, los también componentes del grupo S U R V I V E, y ofrece una mezcla de música ochentera y electrónica que funciona a las mil maravillas.

Por otro lado, además de la música original por parte del dúo norteamericano, todas las temporadas de Stranger Things no han dado la oportunidad de escuchar temazos clásicos como Should I Stay or Should I Go de The Clash, Heroes de Peter Gabriel, Atmosphere de Joy Division, Master of Puppets de Metallica o Running Up That Hill de Kate Bush, entre otras.

Legacy Recordings, una división de Sony Music Entertainment,  los detalles la banda sonora de Stranger Things 4.

La banda sonora original verá la luz en formato digital, CD y casete, en dos volúmenes diferentes asociados a las dos partes en las que estará dividida esta cuarta temporada de Stranger Things. El Volumen 1 se estrenará el 27 de mayo, el Volumen 2 llegará el 1 de julio y finalmente, la banda sonora al completo llegará a las tiendas a partir del 9 de septiembre, también en un doble vinilo de 12".

La música original de la cuarta temporada ha sido producida por los hermanos Duffer y Nora Felder, aunque también incluirá la revisión del clásico Separate Ways (Worlds Apart) de Journey por parte de Bryce Miller/Alloy y canciones de artistas como The Beach Boys, Kate Bush, Talking Heads, Kiss, Falco, The Cramps, Dead Or Alive o Ricky Nelson & others, que abarcan varias épocas y estilos que aparecen en Stranger Things 4.

Banda Sonora de la Temporada 3

Además de saber la fecha de estreno de Stranger Things 3 y que habrá de por medio nuevos personajes, su productora ha anunciado que la banda sonora de estos nuevos episodios también tendrán nueva música por parte de Michael Stein y Kyle Dixon, aka S U R V I V E.

La banda sonora de Stranger Things 3 ofrecerá un tracklist de 15 canciones que ya se pudieron escuchar en su temporada 1 y temporada 2, pero también habrá nuevas composiciones que aún están por ser detalladas.

La B.S.O. de Stranger Things 3 se podrá comprar a partir del 5 de julio en formato CD y también estará disponible en streaming en plataformas como Spotify. No obstante, la edición en vinilo de 12" llegará un mes después del estreno de la serie e incluirá un disco de 7" extra a modo de single.
