Santos criminales (The Many Saints of Newark), la precuela en forma de película de la mítica serie de Los Soprano dirigida por Alan Taylor, cuenta con una banda sonora compuesta por diferentes canciones de artistas de los años 60 y 70 como The Jam, Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones o John Coltrane, entre muchos otros.
La película está protagonizada por Michael Gandolfini (el hijo de James Gandolfini) como el joven Tony Soprano y nos servirá para conocer sus inicios en Newark y cómo las bandas rivales amenazan con desafiar a la familia DiMeo. Además, en el centro de la historia encontraremos al tío de Tony, Dickie Moltisanti, con gran influencia sobre el joven.
Santos Criminales está protagonizada por Alessandro Nivola, Leslie Odom Jr., Jon Bernthal, Corey Stoll, Billy Magnussen, Michela De Rossi, John Magaro, Ray Liotta y Vera Farmiga, y será estrenada en los cines españoles el próximo 5 de noviembre.
